The Gulch date night is two rooms a short walk apart. Rudy's Jazz Room opens at 5. The Station Inn jam starts at 7 on Sundays. Go early, and the sitter is home before you have to pack Monday's lunches.

Rudy's is first come, first served, and closed Tuesdays as of our October 21 check. Get there at 5. If the room is full, go straight to the Station Inn. They sell pizza and beer at the jam, but those prices are not posted online, so they are not in this total.

Same gumbo, beans, and house wine as the Sunday plan, without the jam and without the meter. Three hours of sitting if you park in the free lot and head home by 8. Menu prices are from October 22, 2026. The no-cover early window was true that day for the 5 to 8 set. If the door is charging when you arrive, add it.

On October 23, 2026, the Station Inn calendar listed weeknight covers at $20 or $25. Two tickets are $40 or $50. A four-hour sitter is $82.72. Food at the club is extra and not posted, so it is not in this number.

A drink with a view, then home. Cocktail prices were about $16 to $20 when we checked October 21. This is two drinks each, the 15% tax on spirits, a 20% tip, and three hours of sitting. Confirm the menu. We did not reload it on October 23.
